Sprayed Concrete & Guniting

Sprayed concrete is concrete or mortar conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected onto a surface, allowing it to bond without formwork. There are two main methods: dry-mix (guniting) where water is added at the nozzle, and wet-mix where pre-mixed concrete is pumped. Sprayed concrete is used for tunnel linings, slope stabilisation, retaining walls and repairs. It allows rapid application to irregular surfaces and can incorporate mesh or fibres for additional strength.
