We are seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of heavy plant and specialist equipment.

Location

Primarily based in Downpatrick Co. Down, Northern Ireland.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining and servicing heavy plant, machinery or diesel vehicles
  • Proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability (hydraulics, electrical and engines)
  • Driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Plant Maintenance or Heavy Vehicle Repair
  • Experience working on piling rigs or specialist plant (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

As part of the fitting team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy plant and machinery, including piling rigs, concrete pumps, cranes and excavators, ensuring our operations run safely and efficiently.

Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on heavy plant and machinery.

Diagnose faults across hydraulics, electrical systems and engines and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.

Maintain fleet vehicles and equipment to a high standard.

Attend site breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs.

Ensure all work is completed safety and following company procedures.

Accurately record all maintenance and repair work.
