Quinn Piling Limited are seeking full-time Piling Operatives to join our growing Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction or site experience, or for those keen to develop new skills within a specialist sector of construction. Full training will be provided.

 

Location

Various projects across UK & Ireland.
Travel and Accommodation will be provided.

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions safely
  • Flexible approach to work, including weekends when required

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Driver’s Licence
  • CSR Card
  • Construction site experience
  • 4 GCSEs (A*–G), including minimum Grade D in Maths and English (or equivalent)

  • Salary depending on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities

Slinging and signalling the movement of suspended loads during lifting operations.

Carrying out user maintenance on tools, piling plant, and machinery.

Guiding and controlling the movement and operation of plant and equipment.

Operating powered units, tools, machinery, and equipment specific to piling operations (e.g. concrete pumps, generators, compressors, agitators, pressure washers).

Supporting the team with rigging and de-rigging piling plant and machinery.

Monitoring concrete deliveries and taking samples for testing.

Assisting the Supervisor to safely and efficiently complete projects.

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Loading and offloading vehicles.
